Senior Citizen Passes 1,000 Mile Mark at Riverwalk!

Tom Guthrie wanted to feel better and avoid more medications.  The 71 year old began walking the River park in January 2006.  He has lost 60 lbs. and recently passed the 1,000-mile mark.  Tom said, "There are others who I have met on the Riverwalk who have done even more.  It's a great place, and I commend the Mayor and the park staff.  It's just beautiful and they maintain it so well.  It's a lovely addition to our community." 

Step ONE congratulates Tom on his accomplishments and all those who make daily choices to support their wellness.  Way to go, Tom!
